How Pitaara Took Flight
The founders share the thought that became Pitaara and why Indian art had to remain at the centre of it.
हमारी कहानीOur Story
Pitaara was born from a simple belief: our festivals deserve gifts that look and feel as Indian as the celebrations themselves.
Indian art. Indian hands. Indian celebrations.
हम क्या मानते हैंWhat We Believe
It carries the giver's affection, the receiver's emotion and the spirit of the occasion. And when the occasion is Indian, the gift should carry with it something rooted in India.
Pitaara preserves that very feeling.
Why We Began
Across India, every region has its own colours, patterns, crafts and ways of celebrating. Yet festive gifting was beginning to look increasingly similar everywhere.
We wanted to create boxes that could feel contemporary without leaving Indian tradition behind.
The founders share the thought that became Pitaara and why Indian art had to remain at the centre of it.
Our Creative Purpose
Madhubani, Bandhani, Lippan, Kantha, Pattachitra, jharokhas and countless other traditions are not merely decorative styles. They carry the memory of places, people and generations.
Pitaara reimagines these traditions for festive gifting, so Indian art does not remain confined to galleries, archives or old photographs. It becomes part of everyday celebration again.

Every region has a visual language.
Every festival carries a memory.
Every collection begins with both.

More Than Packaging
A thoughtfully designed box changes how a gift is received, remembered and spoken about.
For a mithai shop, caterer or home baker, packaging is not separate from the product. It is the first chapter of the experience.
A real story about how the right presentation helped a business become more distinctive and memorable.
Designed Here. Crafted Here.
Every Pitaara begins here, from the first idea and illustration to printing, finishing and final assembly.
Our boxes are shaped by Indian art, made by Indian hands and created for the way India celebrates, shares and gifts.
Imagined here · Designed here · Crafted here
The founders speak about building an Indian brand around Indian creativity, craftsmanship and pride.
What a Pitaara Carries
When someone receives a Pitaara, we hope they feel more than the joy of what is inside.
We hope they recognise a colour, remember a craft, think of a region or simply feel the warmth of something made with Indian thought and affection.
Because every gift carries love. Pitaara gives that love an Indian form.
